This one strips the all-girls-school fantasy for parts and hands you what's actually left. Eriko, Yuma and Ayano break in to tour the campus before the opening ceremony, high on their own expectations, and the next twelve episodes are those expectations getting quietly dismantled by the reality of living in a building full of teenage girls. Towa Oshima's manga built its name on the unglamorous stuff nobody animates, and even with the show's shameless fanservice layer bolted on top, that honesty keeps leaking through. That's why the Drama tag isn't decoration. Somewhere in the back half a laugh curdles and you realize you were never just watching a gag show. It's a comedy about the gap between the high school you imagined in middle school and the one you actually walked into, and it knows which one hurts.
