The comedy doesn't aim for your sympathy. It lands because these girls are actually terrible to each other in ways that feel real, then immediately suffer the exact consequences they deserve. Tanaka enters Sainotama Girls' High School with one goal: find a boyfriend. Problem is, she picked an all-girls school.
