Yukari stops the movie dead to geek out about tank specifications like you're her best friend in a Discord server. The show knows exactly who it's made for: people who actually want to understand why a Christie suspension matters, not just watch girls drive tanks. It's supplementary material that somehow became more fun than the main event.

Yukari Akiyama takes the role of instructor in these two short specials, explaining the background of tank units that appear in Girls und Panzer. The first episode covers Japanese tanks and the tanks descended from Christie's designs. The second turns to the tanks fielded by the university selection team. Both specials were included with the Blu-ray and DVD releases of Girls und Panzer Movie.
