Stop expecting this to be Glass no Kamen. It's a sketch show wearing a magical girl costume, riffing on everything from shoujo manga to Shakespeare to its own source material without breaking a sweat. The cast knows they're funny first and magical second, so every episode pivots between absurdist humor and genuinely clever references that land whether you know what they're parodying or not. It's lightweight enough to watch while doing something else, sharp enough that you'll rewind the jokes anyway.

Glass no Kamen Desu ga Z is a short-form comedy that picks up where Glass no Kamen Desu ga left off, now with a new title and a new director at the helm. The delinquent angle of the earlier season is gone. In its place, each episode drops the cast into assorted silly situations, and some of the gags nod to the original manga or to other well-known works. The 14 brief episodes aim squarely at laughs.
