Stop trying to make sense of why a medical drama got turned into an animal comedy ONA. The absurdity is the entire point. Tokyo MER's already ridiculous emergency response team becomes genuinely funnier when they're a fox, a bear, and whatever else fumbling through crisis calls in animal form. It's not trying to be clever about the premise, it just commits to the bit and lets the existing characters' personalities clash harder because now they're visibly wrong in every scene. Five minutes and you've either laughed at the concept or you haven't, but either way you've gotten exactly what was promised: a stupid, purposeful joke that doesn't overstay its welcome.
