If you know Go Nagai's work, this is him yanking his own characters into a blender and laughing at what spills out. The parody only works because it respects what it's mocking, Devilman's apocalyptic dread, Mazinger's earnest giant robot pride, Violence Jack's gratuitous chaos all collide and deflate instantly. You need the source material to get why this is funny, but if you have it, these three episodes are pure franchise love wearing a stupid grin.

Go Nagai's most iconic creations find themselves pulled out of their own universes and dropped into a chaotic parody world. Devilman, Mazinger, Violence Jack, and other characters from Nagai's works collide in this bizarre realm, where they are all turned into squashed, super deformed versions of themselves. Stuck in this mishmash, they fight one another while trying to work out how to get back to their own worlds. The three-episode OVA mixes action, comedy and science fiction, and brings several of the creator's franchises together in one silly, hyperactive package.
