This is a show that commits to the bit with zero apology. A cockroach girl asking why humans hate her so much, genuinely confused, while she's actively trying to befriend them, that's the entire premise, and it never blinks. The comedy works because the show treats her desire for connection as completely sincere, never punching down at her for being a cockroach. Two episodes is exactly enough time to do this before it wears out its welcome.

Gokicha is a small cockroach girl who has relocated from Kanto to Hokkaido, hoping the locals, who rarely see her kind, will become her friends. Her good intentions keep going wrong, and she regularly ends up under someone's shoe or doused in bug spray. Together with her friend Chaba, she tries to survive on the streets and discovers just how dangerous life is for a cockroach. The short comedy runs two episodes, finding both humor and warmth in her determined attempts to be liked by the humans around her.
