The Ainu language crackles through every frame, and the show treats it like a living thing worth learning, not a prop. Sugimoto chasing a fortune through Hokkaido's frost and brutality is just the surface, what actually grabs you is watching a man piece together a dead friend's last wish while the landscape itself fights back. The comedy lands because it earns its space between survival and absurdity, never letting you forget that these idiots are genuinely trying to honor someone who's already gone. This isn't a treasure hunt dressed up as drama. It's a memorial that moves.

Golden Kamuy: Sapporo Beer Koujou-hen is an action, adventure and comedy movie from Brain's Base.
