A time-traveling granddaughter shows up to dismantle your family from the inside, and the show treats it like a philosophical interrogation disguised as a sitcom. When a lovely girl named Maroko Yomota shows up at the door of the Yomota household, she claims to be Inumaru's granddaughter, arrived by time machine to meet her ancestors. The family is small and ordinary: father Kinekuni, 42, mother Tamiko, 38, and seventeen-year-old son Inumaru. Tamiko firmly objects to the visitor, but Kinekuni and Inumaru invite her to stay anyway, and from there the shape of their contented family starts to come apart. The six-episode OVA mixes comedy with a science fiction premise built around time travel.
