A guy doesn't know he's alien, so he chases his ex across the city with the pure stupidity of a farm kid who thinks fame will fix heartbreak. He stumbles into Battle-ball, a sport that doesn't exist anywhere else, and discovers he can throw a ball harder than physics allows. The show treats this setup like it's completely normal: a broken-hearted idiot becomes a superhero by accident, and his team has to figure out what he is before he figures it out himself.
SYNOPSIS
A farm boy with a chip on his shoulder discovers he's not quite human when his girlfriend leaves him chasing stardom. Ikkiman can't stand the thought of losing to her, so he abandons his quiet country life and heads to the city determined to become somebody. That's when he stumbles onto the Blue Planets, Earth's reigning Battle-ball champions, and accidentally interrupts their championship match. Instead of apologizing, he challenges them to let him join their roster. What follows is pure chaos. Ikkiman's alien physiology gives him abilities he doesn't fully understand yet, making him simultaneously the team's secret weapon and their biggest liability. As word spreads about this strange kid who can throw a ball through a building, the Blue Planets get drafted into something bigger: a galactic tournament where Earth's dominance is about to be put to the test. Alien teams with far more experience arrive for the competition, and suddenly this isn't just about one guy's romantic revenge anymore. It's about whether humanity can hold its own in a cosmic arena where the rules are written by beings who've been playing far longer.
