The whole show hinges on Tatsuya finally deciding to want something, and once he does, every scene before that moment rewrites itself in your head. Kazuya's the protagonist, but he's the background character in his own story, Minami watches both brothers the way you do, waiting to see who'll break first. The animation is rough and the faces don't always move right, but the writing is patient enough to let you fall in love with these three before it breaks them apart.

Twin brothers Kazuya and Tatsuya grow up with the same childhood friend, Minami, the girl next door who is practically a sister to them both. Kazuya is the pride of the town, a hardworking and talented ace pitcher for his middle school baseball team, while his older twin Tatsuya is a slacker who has always let his brother take the spotlight, even though he might have more natural ability. Everyone expects Kazuya and Minami to end up together, and Tatsuya assumes the same. Minami, for her part, treats both boys as equals.
