Takaya Todoroki is a young man who dreams of becoming a famous racer, and he builds his own car to chase that goal and compete in a race with a big prize. Because of his own carelessness and the car's shoddy construction, he suffers a serious crash that wrecks the vehicle, yet he comes through alive. Soon afterward a mysterious driver reaches out and invites him to join a well-known racing team.
