Dorothy wakes up with nothing, no memory, no allies, no way out, and has to con her way through Taipei's underworld using only instinct and the muscle of someone she shouldn't trust. The original series already proved it could make you believe a master thief's charm could solve anything; this movie asks what happens when charm is all she has left and even that might be a lie. A woman with no past trying to steal one back from people who want her dead.

Dorothy, a master con artist who was believed to be dead, is recovering from amnesia when the Shanghai Longu-bang find her. The mob wants revenge for the con she once ran on them. She has no memories and no place to turn, so she leans on a local crime underboss to stay ahead of Taipei's criminal underworld while she follows clues about her own forgotten past. The story is a one-episode action thriller and a sequel to GREAT PRETENDER.
