A ragtag crew of criminals sentenced to clean a space train suddenly stranded in the void, and the show treats this disaster like the setup to a joke that never stops landing. The animation moves like it's built to keep you off-balance, characters talk over each other in ways that feel natural instead of annoying, and the pacing refuses to let you catch your breath long enough to realize how thin the premise actually is. By episode three you stop wondering what the plot is and start wondering how they're going to make you laugh in the next thirty seconds. Super human Chiharu and cyborg Makina are arrested for breaking space traffic laws and end up alongside other misfits picked up around the same time: super human duo Akane and Kanata, and cyborg friends Kurt and Max. Police officer Ryoko sentences them to community service cleaning the Milky☆Subway, an old interplanetary train. The easy job falls apart when the train abruptly launches into deep space, throwing the confused crew into onboard chaos. The result is a short sci-fi comedy adventure driven by momentum rather than any plan.
