Three years after a devastating war, Valcania, Dulkheim and Igrecias have joined in a confederation under a new political order, yet many remain discontent. A group of nobles headed by Lyros, Prince of Valcania, plots a coup. Two days before it is set to begin, Lyros asks Dianna Silvernale, captain of Valcania's Royal Guard, to side with him and take the nation back for its people. With little time left, she must choose between following her prince and stopping a war that seems likely to erupt. This single-episode action OVA was a promotional release bundled with the PlayStation 2 game Growlanser IV Return, and main characters from the first three Growlanser games appear in its ending sequence.
