Sano already knows Mizuki's secret and says nothing, and that silence is the whole season. Every dance, every school trip, every stupid model scouting gig becomes a held breath because he's watching her lie to everyone else while he carries the truth alone. Then Nakatsu falls for the boy who isn't a boy, and suddenly the love triangle isn't a gimmick, it's three people flinching around a secret that's going to wreck somebody. This show plays light, high jinks, dorm chaos, the usual boarding school nonsense, right up until it doesn't, and that whiplash is why it still gets you on a second watch even when you know Sano's already in on it. It's a character study wearing a rom-com costume, and Mizuki never once stops being the reason you're still here.
