Two comedic side stories branch off from the main Harukanaru Toki no Naka de series in this two-episode OVA. The first centers on the four Hachiyou of Heaven, Yorihisa, Takamichi, Eisen and Inori, whose small mishaps leave them suspecting one another of a minor 'crime', until Akane is called in to help sort out the case. The second turns to the four Hachiyou of Earth: Kotengu is set on challenging Yasuaki, while Tenma, Shimon, Tomomasa and Akane work to stop the fight from happening and ask Fuji-hime to help them. Both episodes play these fantasy adventure characters for laughs.
