A single animator spent over a year building a half-hour that moves like nothing else on screen, hand-drawn chaos colliding with early-2000s CG that should feel dated but doesn't. The action is the story here. A delinquent kid versus a yakuza enforcer in a broken Japan becomes an excuse to animate bodies moving through space in ways that feel dangerous and unpredictable.

Japan lies in ruins after an apocalypse, and violence rules what is left. Haruwo is an orphan who runs with a gang of juvenile delinquents and acts without much thought for the risks. He meets Hanae, a woman whose husband was killed by outlaws, and resolves to avenge her. When the reckless youth goes up against the Yakuza, their new bouncer may prove more than he can handle. Aoki Tact made this half-hour sci-fi action OVA single-handedly as a first work, and it was picked for the 17th DoGA CG Animation Contest.
