The opening episodes feel like a buddy cop sitcom until you realize Judoh itself is the real character, a sprawling neon city where every case peels back another layer of how it actually works. By episode five, you stop watching criminals and cops and start watching a city breathe. The show commits to what it builds, slow enough to make you care about side characters, fast enough to hit hard when it matters, and confident enough to end on its own terms instead of overstaying.
In the city of Judoh, Claire Leonelli takes over as head of the mafia group Vampire after his father dies. To keep Claire and the rest of the city's criminals in line, Judoh's Bureau of Urban Safety relies on Daisuke Aurora, an agent of its Special Services Division, and a powerful android known only as J. Because androids are outlawed in Judoh, J's identity appears to be kept secret. With the pair on duty, crime finds little space to operate. Expect a science fiction action adventure with mecha elements.
