A grade schooler gives a police robot its personality, and suddenly the robot stops being a weapon and becomes a partner who actually cares if the kid survives the mission. The show finds its whole heart in that reversal. Every fight matters because two people who genuinely trust each other are fighting it. Grade schooler Yuuta Tominaga discovers a hidden laboratory where the Japanese police are building Deckerd, a giant humanoid robot meant to combat advanced crime. For six months he slips inside after hours to keep his new friend company, teaching him feelings like joy, anger and sadness until the machine gains a heart of his own. Now Deckerd is ready for duty, and the reprogramming that comes with it could wipe out everything he has learned. As a result of that bond, Yuuta is made boss of the Brave Police, and a real partnership between boy and robot begins in this action-driven sci-fi mecha series.
