A strange creature named Puchan drops out of the sky onto a southern island known as Whale Island. He crashes into a school and squashes the frog teacher flat. Puchan somehow gets the teacher back into shape, but the classmates are wary of the newcomer. Before long they find him a lot of fun, and Puchan becomes part of the school. From there, this comedy short follows the many incidents he runs into at school, each one resolved in his own curious way. The series is based on a manga by Sasaki Takemaru and runs for 42 episodes.
