Taoyuan is an ancient Chinese town whose only residents are Taoist ascetics. The elder, Lao Shi, devotes himself to studying magic and alchemy. His pupil Zhi Huang cares far more for earthly pleasures, and he has fallen for three beautiful sisters who live nearby. Adapted from Kojima Kou's adult comic strip, first printed in the magazine Asahi Geino, this 1963 short-format TV series runs 23 episodes and plays as a romantic comedy with an ecchi streak, its cast dressed in traditional clothing.
