SYNOPSIS
In the remote mountain settlement of Taoyuan, a community of Taoist monks pursues spiritual enlightenment through ancient magic and ascetic discipline. Their peaceful routine shatters when Zhi Huang, an ambitious young disciple under the tutelage of the scholarly elder Lao Shi, becomes entangled with three beautiful sisters living at the village's edge. While his master obsesses over alchemical formulas and mystical rituals, Zhi Huang finds his attention repeatedly drawn away from meditation and toward romantic temptation. His conflicted desires create constant friction between his duty to spiritual practice and his very human longings, sparking a series of comedic misadventures that ripple through the hermit community. The sisters, equally intrigued by the charming disciple, complicate matters further with their own designs. What unfolds is a lighthearted collision between the rigid expectations of monastic life and the chaotic pull of desire, where ancient wisdom meets youthful impulse in an isolated world where such distractions are strictly forbidden.
