Finn's war for the orphanage never ended. It just got worse. "The Flowers Bloom" is the show finally collecting what it spent two seasons planting: every card played, every ally forged, every card user Finn couldn't save reaches its moment. The special doesn't reset or sideline what came before, it demands you remember exactly who paid the price for Finn to get this far. That's what separates HIGH CARD from every other "kid finds magic power" story: it never lets you forget that saving one thing costs something else, and by episode 25, Finn knows the exact weight of that equation.

HIGH CARD Special Episode "The Flowers Bloom" is a single-episode action fantasy ONA released in 2024. It serves as the twenty-fifth episode of HIGH CARD and follows on from both the first and second seasons. The franchise centers on Finn, a young man drawn into a dangerous world where a set of 52 X-Playing Cards grants superhuman powers to whoever holds them.
