Rei, Gou, Kiyoshi, Jin and Dai are five troublemaking boys at Ichiou Junior High whose odd personalities and talent for chaos have made them notorious as the Kimengumi. Some of them are even repeating grades. When transfer student Yui Kawa and her friend Chie Uru cross paths with the group, the two girls are soon pulled into their antics. The school is full of other colorful cliques as well: a band of handsome boys led by Shou Kireide, delinquents under You Nihiruda, athletes headed by Kai Undou, and a tough girls' squad led by Jako Amano. Across a new spring, this comedy with a touch of romance follows the daily lives of these eccentric students.
