When six-year-old Daisy loses her mother, her only family, in a traffic accident on a rainy day, she goes to live with her aunt and has a hard time adjusting. One night, unable to sleep, she sees a mysterious girl named Dahlia at her window. The days the two spend together begin to move beyond the limits of time and space, casting Daisy's humble life around a downtown yakisoba restaurant in a cosmic light.
