Two guys sharing a dorm room, one who can't wake up, one who's there every morning anyway. That's it. That's the whole show. The manga had chemistry on the page; here it's in the way Hirano's exasperation cracks into something softer, the way Kagiura's earnestness reads as actual care, not performative. Eight minutes of two people who like each other figuring out what that means in the smallest, most real moments. Comfort doesn't have to earn anything. Sometimes it just has to be true.

Hirano, a second-year high schooler living in his campus dormitory, has been rooming with first-year Kagiura for half a year. Kagiura is a diligent member of the basketball team who has trouble waking up in the morning, so Hirano helps him out. Kagiura was once nervous about dorm life, but his energetic senior's care has put him at ease. The two get along well, and Hirano is fond of his earnest roommate. What Hirano does not realize is that Kagiura has fallen for him. With six months left before their time as roommates ends, Kagiura resolves to define the bond he values so much.
