A spirit that's spent generations making noise for someone who can finally no longer hear it. That loneliness hits different when you realize the ghost isn't haunting the house, the house is haunting the ghost. It's a one-minute film that understands something most full series miss: sometimes the most devastating stories don't need monsters or explanations, just the quiet ache of being forgotten by the only person who ever acknowledged you were there.

An old house falls silent for its last resident, an elderly woman who has lost the ability to hear the sounds it makes. For generations, a house rattling spirit has lived within its walls, announcing itself through the noises of the old building. Now that those noises go unheard, the spirit is left full of longing. A supernatural slice of life film, it was made in 2019 as a first-year graduate work in the animation department of Tokyo University of the Arts' Graduate School of Film and New Media.
