Adapted from Mark Twain's novel, this 26-episode adventure series is set along the banks of the Mississippi River and sees the world through the eyes of Huck Finn, a young orphan. Resourceful and spirited, Huck knows how to get by on his own. He runs away from his father and sets off with Jim, a runaway boy, and he learns a great deal about life from him. Tom Sawyer, a mischievous boy hungry for adventure, is a romantic at heart but happy to use a little trickery to get his way or dodge work. Meeting Huck makes Tom's life far more complicated, and together with Jim the boys set out on a series of adventures.
