Gon and Killua stop being kids pretending to be hunters in this arc. The training under Biscuit strips away their cockiness in real time, each fight showing you exactly how much they don't know yet. Biscuit's dry cruelty as a mentor hits different when you realize she's the only adult in this story who actually gives a damn whether they live or die.

Gon is still searching for his father inside the game Greed Island, and he keeps playing alongside Killua and Biscuit. Under Biscuit's guidance, Gon and Killua train hard so they are better prepared to take on the game, and their abilities grow considerably. Player killers are a menace on the island, but the group presses on despite the risks posed by the game's activities and by run-ins with other players. Based on Yoshihiro Togashi's manga, this action and fantasy adventure OVA runs for 14 episodes.
