Blue Storm is a demon who exists to protect Ritsu, except neither of them really knows what they're doing half the time. The show treats that friction as the actual horror, not jump scares or elaborate mythology, but two people with power they don't fully understand trying to fix problems that don't have clean solutions. Ritsu has a sixth sense, passed down to him by his grandfather along with a demon guardian called Blue Storm.
