Love moves through four animals in a chain, each one finding their own way to say it. By the time it reaches Rabbit, the words get stuck, but the feeling doesn't. This is a two-and-a-half-minute reminder that some things don't need language to land, only bodies brave enough to show up for each other.
A chain of confessions ripples through a small group of animals, each one passing along three simple words to the next. Chick starts things off by telling Mouse "I love you." Mouse carries the sentiment forward to Duck. Duck shares it with Rabbit. But when Rabbit's turn arrives, the words will not quite come out. Based on a picture book meant for reading aloud, the short shows its animals expressing joy and affection with their whole bodies, with plenty of room for hugs. The ONA exists in two versions: a 30-second commercial cut and a Director's Cut running about two and a half minutes.
