Minato Aqua's voice dissolves into something almost unbearably intimate over animation that refuses to look away from the mundane. Riri Yamashita renders desire and longing not as dramatic gestures but as a girl in her room, wanting something she can't quite name. The song builds while the visuals stay still, letting you sit in the space between the music and stillness until they become the same thing. This is what happens when you give a real animator three minutes to prove that a one-shot scene can say more than a full series trying to explain itself. It costs nothing to watch. It takes everything to watch it right.

Music video animated by Riri Yamashita for the song I Wanna by Minato Aqua.
