Mai, Ruri and Kei are three girls whose interests run to music and dance, Ryubu, the stage productions of Okinawa, and karate. The show's title character is MiRiKa, a name built from the words Musical, Ryubu and Karate, and she is voiced by veteran actress Noriko Hidaka. This is the second series of a slice of life TV anime centered on these pursuits.
