Mitsuki Hattori is an office worker who puts her job ahead of her own grooming. She pushes herself hard at work, hoping one day to become the trusted right hand of her section chief, Watanabe, whom she has long admired from a distance. When she hears he will soon move to another section, she is saddened, and she resolves to change her appearance so that he sees how pretty she is before he goes.
