IDOLiSH7 Vibrato is a short spin-off of the IDOLiSH7 TV series, released on YouTube. On a cold night, the idol group TRIGGER gathers at a bar to mark the anniversary of the day they began working together. The story then goes back two years, to when Ryuunosuke Tsunashi leaves his home in Okinawa for Tokyo, hoping to become an idol and pay off his father's debt. Instead of the manager, Gaku Yaotome, son of the head of Yaotome Productions, picks him up, and the two go to meet the enigmatic Ten Kujou. Gaku doubts that Ten deserves to be the group's center, but Ryuunosuke helps the three of them get along, and TRIGGER is formed, though hurdles remain before they become famous. In the present, rival group IDOLiSH7 faces troubles of its own, from deciding how to spend days off to settling a long-running quarrel. The show mixes comedy, drama, music and slice-of-life moments.
