Team Satomi walks into the IG-1 league knowing they're outgunned on every front, and the show never apologizes for that gap. What carries them is pure pilot chemistry, four people who bicker and doubt each other learning to move as one machine inside their mecha. Team Satomi has won the IG-2 lower league and moves up to IG-1, the top tier of the competition. Young pilots Takeshi, Liz, Amy and River will need to work as a real team if they want to reach first place, but matters among the four keep getting complicated.
