Shiratori Nagisa is a pink-haired pop idol whose father keeps pushing her to find new disciples for the family dojo. Wanting some free time as an ordinary kid, she cuts off her hair, dresses as a boy and enrolls at a run-down school under the false name Ootori Nagisa. There she falls for Nosaka Akira, a gang leader from a rival school and a martial artist himself, only to learn that he is a fan of Nagisa the idol. By keeping up the disguise, the two manage to steal time together. Both of their dojo-running fathers, some martial artist animals and a rising idol all conspire to make their lives as complicated as possible. Nagisa is cheerful and handy in a fight, and between her career, her boyfriend and the dojo she tends to sleep through class unless something chaotic breaks out. The result is a comedy romance built on mistaken identity.
