A country kid shows up in Tokyo with a horse and an alien belt, and somehow the love triangle matters more than saving the world. The show understands that a transformation sequence is just an excuse to get back to what actually matters: whether he can make Yuka laugh before his rival does. Comedy this shameless about its own priorities doesn't get made anymore.

Koujirou moves from Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost island, to Tokyo, and he refuses to leave his favourite horse, Hikarikin, behind. Rel, an alien king from the planet Wedelun, arrives and gives him a belt that lets him become a Miracle Hero charged with defending the world from alien threats. Koujirou cares far more about winning over the lovely Yuka, though his rival Michinari has his own eyes on her. The result is a comedy of heroics and romantic rivalry.
