A girl walks into a room full of boys who genuinely believe they have supernatural powers, and the show's entire energy hinges on how hard it commits to taking their delusions seriously while treating them like actual people. The comedy doesn't punch down at them for being weird. It finds the real humor in how their chuunibyou nonsense collides with actual high school life, and how a normal girl watching them figure out who they actually are becomes her story too. This one doesn't try to be anything except funny and warm, which means it lands harder than shows that reach for profundity.

Pulled into their Hero Club as its newest member, Mizuki watches her hopes of a quiet school life fall apart as their fantasies spill over into very real trouble. Still, beneath all the quirks, the friendship between them is genuine, and joining in on their grand delusions makes her days far livelier than she planned.
