Then Shikanoko Noko crashes into her life, literally and figuratively. This transfer student has actual antlers, and her deer nose can sniff out the past Torako works so hard to hide. What follows is pure comedic chaos, at school and even on a trip to the zoo. Every interaction with Noko threatens to unravel Torako's carefully constructed image, so she plays along with Noko's whims, even becoming president of the newly founded Deer Club. All the while, Torako cannot stop wondering whether Noko is a deer, a girl or something in between.
