Two teenagers are suddenly parents to an alien baby who won't stop floating through their apartment and calling them Mom and Dad in front of their classmates. Miyu is an eighth grader whose parents are hired by NASA and move to America, leaving her with Mr. Saionji. When he then sets off on a year-long trip to India, Miyu is left alone in the house with his son, Kanata.
