Warmth doesn't require stakes. A teacher and his demi-human students spend a summer day doing nothing in particular, and the show convinces you that's enough. Every interaction feels like catching up with people you actually care about, no conflict required.

Summer break arrives, and Tetsuo asks Sakie to help him with patrol duty at the local summer festival. The demis and Himari with her friends attend the festival too. When each group heads off separately to explore a nearby shrine, strange happenings frighten them, though the source of the scares turns out to be the other group. As the new term starts, Tetsuo talks with an invisible woman named Matsuri. The episode is a streamed supernatural slice-of-life comedy special in the Interviews with Monster Girls franchise, and it was also packaged with the seventh DVD and Blu-ray volume.
