Two girls who are opposites in every way keep finding reasons to be close. The jokes are silly, the pacing moves fast enough that you never feel the repetition, and there's a realness to how they orbit each other that a lot of longer shows miss entirely. It's a show that understands romance doesn't need a confession or a kiss to land, just two people who can't stop making excuses to exist in the same space.

Yachiyo Inugami and Suzu Nekoyama are high school girls who are drawn to each other after a fateful meeting, pulled together by their opposite personalities. Yachiyo is a friendly, airheaded extrovert who loves cats but behaves a lot like a dog, while the shy, timid Suzu adores dogs and has a distinctly cat-like temperament. Yachiyo keeps making eager, instinctive approaches, and Suzu reacts with bashful, flustered responses every time. Their friend Hiiragi Aki does her best to poke fun at the pair and to keep Yachiyo from going berserk. Their antics soon catch the eye of the mousy classmate Mikine Nezu, and together they join the school's biology club, where they meet the easygoing upperclassman Ushikawa Ukiji. The result is a short-format slice-of-life comedy about an unusual pair and the lively friends around them.
