Yuuko Konagai is a shy, socially awkward first-year in high school whose grades are unremarkable and who has barely any friends in class. After each dull school day she heads home to her real refuge: her three cats Maa, Shii and Rou, who have humanlike bodies and can talk. Cheerful Maa, sensible Rou and gentle, easily teary Shii are always waiting to keep her company. Life gets a little bigger when Yuuko befriends Azumi Shiratori, a fellow cat lover with a Turkish Angora named Elza. Told in short episodes, this gentle slice of life comedy follows Yuuko's days with her cats, her new friendship, and the small adventures of the cats themselves.
