Dr. Teng, a researcher at the Time Institute, travels through time with his loyal kappa assistant Pasuke to witness famous moments in Japanese history. They first visit the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, then the fourth Battle of Kawanakajima in 1561. Later they observe Yoshitsune's last stand at Hiraizumi in 1189, before jumping ahead several centuries to Nagashino in 1575, where Oda Nobunaga first used firearms in battle. The video mixes live action and animation, presenting history as a documentary with a light story.
