Jang Geum's Dream continues with a second season of 26 episodes. The first season introduced Jang Geum, a clever and cheerful girl who dreams of becoming a cook. She is taken on as a servant in the palace, makes friends quickly, and soon runs into scheming and corruption. That first season was a joint Korean and Japanese production, and this follow-up is an adventure comedy.
