Jotaro doesn't posture or explain himself, and the OVA doesn't either, it just moves. The animation has weight that made every punch feel like it actually landed, something the '93 version couldn't touch. This is what happens when you strip JoJo down to pure threat: Dio is coming, your mother is dying, and your weird ghost fist is the only thing that works.

Jotaro Kujo, an ordinary and popular high school student, shuts himself in a jail cell, sure that a spirit has taken hold of him. After his grandfather Joseph Joestar visits and Jotaro fights Joseph's friend Muhammad Abdul, he discovers that the spirit is Star Platinum, his Stand: fighting energy given a semi-solid shape. Later his mother develops a Stand of her own and falls ill. The cause is the vampire Dio Brando, revived a hundred years after his defeat by Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro's great-great-grandfather. Jotaro sets out for Egypt with Joseph and Abdul to finish Dio for good.
