Kan'u is a young woman of the Juuza, the cat people of the 13th Zodiac, a race looked down on as vulgar and contemptible. Her people keep to themselves, living apart from human sight. As the Han Dynasty nears its end, the Yellow Scarves rise up and throw the Three Kingdoms into disorder. When armies gather, Sousou leads a punitive force into her village, and Kan'u and her neighbors lose the quiet life they had. The story is a single-episode fantasy romance OVA.
