K-ON!'s real magic was always in the spaces between the songs. These shorts live there. Nine minutes of the girls doing nothing in particular, making tea, losing at games, failing to remember lyrics, lands harder than it has any right to. The pacing never stops, the jokes land in the margins, and by the end you realize you just watched four girls be exactly who they are. That's the whole thing. That's why people come back.

K-ON!!: Ura-On!! is a set of nine short comedy specials released in 2010 as bonus material for the second season of K-ON!!. The extras were packaged with the special edition Blu-ray discs of that season, giving buyers brief comedic episodes to go along with the main show.
