The steam-powered fortress becomes a coffin when the Kabane breach it. Undead creatures called Kabane ravage the land, turning anyone they bite into one of the infected. This film recuts the story of those brave or desperate enough to venture out, condensing the second half of the Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress TV series as the second of two compilation movies. The tension never lets up, in a world where one bite means transformation into something inhuman. New scenes made only for the film and a reworked ending that departs from the original broadcast give it its own identity, blending action, horror and supernatural drama.
